After dermal filler treatment, it's important to follow some aftercare guidelines for optimal results. Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area for the first 24 hours to minimise the risk of displacement. Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, and alcohol consumption for the first 24-48 hours to reduce the risk of swelling and bruising. Apply ice packs intermittently to reduce swelling and discomfort and It's important to stay hydrated and avoid excessive sun exposure.

Generally dermal filler treatment does not tend to be painful and you may experience mild discomfort when the injections are being administered, certain areas such as the lips can be more sensitive and uncomfortable. With the application of a mild numbing cream you should feel little to no pain when undergoing dermal filler treatment.
Certain areas, such as the tear trough and lip area have a higher likelihood of bruising, typically a bruise can last for a few days and will subside. Bruising is always a possibility but is not that common.
Dermal filler results are generally seen immediately after treatment and this will gradually improve over 2 – 4 weeks to achieve the desired treatment outcome.
