How do clear aligners work?
Spark uses a series of custom-made, removable trays. Each set moves your teeth a small amount, and you change to a new set every one to two weeks. You wear them for 20–22 hours a day and take them out to eat, to drink anything other than water, and to brush.
Appearance and comfort
Spark aligners are made from a material designed to stay clear and resist staining, and many patients find their smooth, scalloped edges comfortable. They’re virtually invisible when you wear them, so most people won’t notice you’re straightening your teeth.

How long does treatment take?

Looking after your teeth during treatment
- Brush and clean your aligners morning and night
- Take your aligners out to eat and drink anything other than water
- Keep up regular check-ups and hygiene visits
- Wear retainers afterwards to keep your new smile in place
